Specialized pain management clinic reopens at Nasser Hospital
The newly reopened pain management clinic is back to caring for chronic pain patients in the South — one of two clinics supported by NORWAC. This center offers multidisciplinary care with an incredible team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists, and physiotherapists. They use a wide range of treatments, including simple interventions, to help patients manage pain and rebuild their lives.
The clinic mainly treats non-cancer pain, including support to children with traumatic injuries, such as gunshot and explosion wounds. All treatments in the cinlic are free for six months, focusing on rehabilitation so patients can regain function and help rebuild Gaza.
The older pain clinic at Shifa Hospital in the North is also set to reopen soon!
