NORWAC signs MoU with the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education
An MoU was signed earlier this week between NORWAC, represented by our Country Director Belal Al-Jabri, and the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education. The signing was attended by H.E. Hilde Haraldstad, the Norwegian Ambassador to Syria, and H.E. Dr. Marwan Al-Halabi, the Minister of Higher Education, reflecting their support for this collaboration and NORWAC’s ongoing work in Syria.
This agreement marks an important milestone in advancing training programs for medical residents and health workers in university hospitals managed by the Ministry of Higher Education. This collaboration underscores NORWAC’s dedication to strengthening Syria’s health system and ensuring sustainable, high-quality healthcare services for years to come.
