Amin, a boy from Gaza

Amir is a five-year-old boy with three brother and sisters. His bright smile and lively eyes charms everyone around him. The family has been displaced several times but has now returned to their original home, which is partially in ruins. The room they now are living has three intact walls, while the fourth wall has been replaced by a large curtain.

A couple of weeks ago, he was injured in the chaotic traffic of Gaza. He was brought to the European Hospital in Khan Younis, where local doctors, in collaboration with the NORWAC team, took care of him.

After several procedures he is now ready to be discharged together with his mother Fatima, and can return home to the rest of his family.

Despite everything, Amir is fortunate; both his parents and family are still alive, and he himself has recovered
