Celebrating the 40-year anniversary of NISCVT

On the 13 and 14 of May 2016 and in presence of Ms. Anne Jorem, Charge d'Affaires at the Norwegian embassy in Beirut representing the ambassador her excellency Ms. Anne Lind, and Ms. Miriam Azar, Advisor for Development and Cooperation and the Finnish embassy in Beirut representing the Charge d'Affaires Mr. Matti Lassilla, The National Institution of Social Care and Vocational Training organized its 10th annual conference on Mental Health entitled: "Being Palestinian: Human Rights, Identity and Mental Health", in close cooperation with the Family Guidance Centers.

In addition to representatives of the civil society and NISCVT partners and members, various local and international NGOs and associations from Lebanon, West Bank, Norway, Finland, Japan, Germany, Japan and Switzerland were present.

The 10th annual conference commemorated the 40th anniversary of establishment of NISCVT and coincided with 20 years of services launching at the Family Guidance Center in Beirut. The conference ended by Palestinian Folkloric musical evening, involving the 160 children from all NISCVT.
